A friend of mine recently returned from a missions trip to Africa, sharing the gospel and meeting physical and spiritual needs of men, women and children in some very poor areas.
She shared with me about their joy in the midst of situations in which as Americans we would be hard pressed to be considered joyful.
She shared just a small portion of what God taught her because in her own words, she “is still figuring out and realizing all He taught her” through this trip.
The other night we were in our Bible study and she was sharing about how God’s grace is never ending.
“God’s grace is like Niagara Falls. And I am like a teacup. How can you catch Niagara Falls in a cup?! You can’t. He is so much more than we deserve and He gives us everything we need and so much more.”
You cannot catch Niagara Falls in a cup. What a beautiful picture of everything that God gives us. It is so much more than we deserve.
